Shopify Audit

A concrete roadmap for what's holding your growth back.

Most brands can feel that something is off in their store but cannot point at it. There is traffic, sales are below expectation, and it is unclear whether the problem is the advertising, the site or the product.

The audit exists to close that question. We review the store from the storefront and from the admin panel, check the measurement, and turn what we found into a list ordered by priority.

We do not stop at producing the list, we implement it too. That is why the audit is usually the first step of working together; once the store is known and tidied up, we move on to e-commerce management.

Who is it for?

For brands with a live store, a track record of sales and data that has built up. Traffic is coming in but sales are not where you expected. You have the data and cannot work out what it means. Or you can feel that something is missing in the store and do not know where to start. If one of these sounds like you, you are in the right place. For newly opened stores with no data yet an audit comes too early; with no history to look at, a review turns into guesswork.

How it runs

  1. We review the store end to end

The storefront from the homepage to checkout, then the admin panel. Desktop and mobile separately; most of the traffic is on mobile and most of the problems show up there.

  2. We check the measurement

Is conversion tracking correct, is the data consistent across platforms. Every decision made on wrong data is wrong.

  3. We write the roadmap and put it into practice

We order the findings by priority: what should be done first and why it sits in that order. Then we go through the list together and start implementing.

What we deliver

  • A written report of the findings
  • A to-do list ordered by priority

Frequently asked

How long does it take?
It depends on the size of the store. Once the review is done, we tell you clearly how long the work that came out of it will take.
Do you implement the findings as well?
Yes, implementation is part of the audit. If large work comes up that rebuilds how the store operates, we discuss that as a separate project.
Is it a one-off?
Yes. Once the store is in order, brands that want ongoing maintenance continue with e-commerce management.
How concrete is the report?
We do not write "the product page should be improved". We write which page, which element, why it should change and how.
